Enter into the new week with calm and ease. Join us on this deeply relaxing acoustic sound journey into inner peace and tranquility. Sound therapy is one of a growing number of subtle-energy therapies that make up the field of vibrational medicine.
According to the law of physics, everything vibrates, trees, the earth we walk on and the ocean. That sound is called resonance, the frequency at which an object naturally vibrates.
We will start with easy breathing and vocal exercises that will support your journey. The evening will end to the subtle acoustic sound journey into peace and deep relaxation.
Typical experiences in the sound healing classes are
• stress release
• improved mental clarity and focus
• release of physical and/or emotional anxiety
• relief for sleeping issues
• restoration of inner balance and harmony.
No previous experience required. Please wear something warm and comfortable and bring a yoga mat. Blankets and bolsters are provided.

I am “out of tune” is a common expression used when we are stressed, anxious or have a physical illness. The immersive practice of therapeutic sound can help your body feel more “in tune”.
Sonic healing is a powerful relaxation experience. In the class, we will breath, hum, chant and meditate. The practitioner uses singing bowls, drums, and other resonant instruments to stimulate the vagus nerve, which then activates the parasympathetic nervous system, resulting in a calming effect on the body.
Sonic healing can help you:
• decrease stress
• improve mental clarity and focus
• release physical and/or emotional anxiety
• find relief for sleeping issues
• restore inner balance and harmony
This class is accessible for all bodies and comfort levels. Participants are welcome to lie down on a yoga mat or sit in a chair. No previous experience required. NOTE: People in wheelchairs are also welcomed to these classes. The practitioner will accommodate the activities to everyone.
Please wear something warm and comfortable and bring a yoga mat, if you wish to lie down.
NOTE: no classes btw July 24 – September 25!
Register here (click “schedule” and look at the class on Monday) OR just come to the class.

The practice creates a calm, supportive and nurturing environment in which you can relax and let go, allowing the innate wisdom of your body to naturally restore balance and well-being. Whether you just need to decompress from stress, recover from injury or deal with chronic illness, this workshop will help your body, mind and spirit to relax, rejuvenate and heal. Live sound of signing bowls and tuning forks will support the body for even deeper relaxation.

“Every particle in the physical universe takes its characteristics from the pitch and pattern and overtones of its particular frequencies. Before we make music, music makes us.” Joachim-Ernst Berendt
In this highly experiential and intimate workshop, we will explore physiology and psychology of sound in our body and mind. When you tune in with your instruments, they will begin to tell you a healing story. You will learn
– to use deep listening as you connect with your instruments with your entire soma
– to recognize and interpret the subtle vibrational changes
– basic principals how to transform the sounds to restore balance
As you deepen your relationship with your instruments, your confidence offering sounds expand, you sustain full presence in your sessions and stay in awe.
I recommend this workshop for sound healing practitioners and anyone who is interested in using sound intentionally. Attendees have called it “immensely practical” and “opened a door to discovery”.
Please bring your own instruments, journal, pen, yoga mat, blanket and water bottle.
Pre-registration required (only six places available) – please email Minna at firstname.lastname@example.org
