Thursday November 7^th at the InFlux event in Fern Alley, San Francisco

I was invited to join the InFlux event together with my dear friends Laurie and Donna. The call was for artists and healers to participate in this outdoor event held in one of the most notorious alleys in Tenderloin. If you go there any other time, you would be in the middle of prostitutes and drug addicts. This Thursday night turned out to be something very different and healing for all of us.

Laurie, Donna and I placed our blankets and pillows to the sidewalk, crea ted a communal altar on front, did our magic with tuning forks, and yes, managed to create nice and safe environment for people to stop by.

During the night we guided people to sound journeys to connect with their animal spirits. It did feel like a jungle – safe jungle, at times with all the drumming and animal sounds. We had so much fun just playing, singing, improvising and connecting with the pass byers. Just beautiful people reconnecting to the other side.

At the end, we sat together with the organizers and played sounds together. It felt so peaceful – quite different than in the beginning. I hope that we were able to shift the energy maybe just for a little while and bring joy and peace to the locals as well once they started to return after we were all gone to our homes.
